RIVERTON, Wyoming — The Fremont County Attorney's Office has filed new charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated assault and battery against an Ethete man involved in a collision November.
Reuben Revere initially was initially charged with DUI, but prosecutors added new charges after learning the extent of injuries to the victim.
Carolyn Whitman died from complications of injuries suffered in the Nov. 13 collision. An autopsy showed she died from complications of blunt-force injuries that included a fractured spine and torn spinal cord.
The Riverton Ranger reports (http://tinyurl.com/pcnv4gn ) Revere was not hurt in the crash. Police say Revere's blood alcohol tests showed he was above the legal limit and he was originally charged with DUI.
Court officials say they have no records that indicate Revere has an attorney.
