OMAHA, Nebraska — An Omaha songwriter is releasing two new CDs of love songs created for same-sex marriages.

Karen Sokolof Javitch says she wanted to make sure gay couples had some of their own love songs, so she wrote the songs for the "Women in Love" and "Men in Love" CDs.

An assortment of male and female artists sang the songs. The CDs were produced by Chuck Pennington, who is part of Mannheim Steamroller.

Javitch says she plans to donate 1,000 CDs to national and local gay rights groups.
