Police investigate shooting that injured Bridgeport woman, 2 men sought


BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut — Bridgeport police are investigating after a woman was shot and wounded.

Officers responding to a call found the women near Madison Avenue and George Street at about 9:15 p.m. Friday. She has been shot in the right leg and right arm.

Police say the woman is being treated at St. Vincent's Hospital.

Police said they are looking for two men in connection with the shooting. They described the suspects as tall black men, one who was wearing a black hooded jacket and the other a gray hooded jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bridgeport police.
