ARDMORE, Oklahoma — A man arrested for murder in Ardmore has died after being found unconscious in his jail cell.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says 20-year-old Everett Park was pronounced dead Wednesday at an Ardmore hospital where he was taken after being found unconscious in the cell.

The OSBI says Park was arrested Tuesday for first-degree murder and was alone in the jail cell. His body was sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
