TALLULAH, Louisiana — Louisiana State Police say two men died in a head-on crash in Madison Parish.

Senior Trooper Michael Reichardt says the three-vehicle accident happened at 12:25 a.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 65 approximately 5 miles north of Tallulah.

Reichardt says a small SUV driven by 60-year-old Wayne Kearns, of Dothan, Alabama, was southbound when the vehicle cross the center line and struck a northbound pickup driven by 61-year-old Charles Peeler, of Lake Providence, Louisiana.

Reichardt says a Chevrolet Suburban driven by 58-year-old Karen Teamer, of Lake Providence, struck the pickup causing minor damage to her vehicle.
