BOWIE, Maryland — Prince George's County police are investigating a fatal shooting in Bowie that left one man dead.

Police identified the victim Saturday as 31-year-old Terrence Zackery of Bowie.

Officers were called to the 1200 block of Patriot Lane early Saturday morning where they found Zackery suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say Zackery was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say they do not believe the shooting was a random act. Police are working to identify a suspect and the motive in the case.
