BRIDGETON, New Jersey — A southern New Jersey man has been indicted on vehicular homicide charges stemming from a crash that killed two Pennsylvania women earlier this year.
A Cumberland County grand jury recently returned the charge against 27-year-old Sabree Claitt of Willingboro.
Authorities say Claitt was driving a rental truck on Route 49 westbound when it crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with another vehicle. Two women in that vehicle — 52-year-old Sandra Fabian, of Sinking Spring, and 50-year-old Beth Wolf, of Bethel — were pronounced dead at the scene.
Claitt and a passenger in the truck were injured in the crash.
A telephone number for Claitt could not be located Tuesday. It was not known if he has retained a lawyer.
