Man fatally shot during argument in west Phoenix; police work to ID a suspect


PHOENIX — Police are searching for suspects after a man was shot and killed in west Phoenix.

Police spokesman James Holmes says the shooting happened shortly after 2 a.m. near 90th Avenue and Indian School Road.

According to Holmes, a large group was gathered when an argument broke out.

During the argument, the man was shot.

He was taken to a hospital but pronounced dead.

Holmes says most people fled the area after the shooting and nobody has cooperated so far with investigators.

The incident remains under investigation.
