BILOXI, Mississippi — Police say a 16-year-old boy is accused of murder in the shooting death of a Biloxi man.
Lt. Christopher De Back tells multiple news outlets the teenager was arrested Tuesday night and booked at the Biloxi police station before he was taken to the Harrison County jail.
Justice Court Judge Bruce Strong set his bail at $100,000. DeBack says he is being treated as an adult in the case.
De Back says the 16-year-old is accused of fatally shooting 32-year-old Jeremy Lowery during a verbal altercation.
De Back said others were also involved in the argument.
