Tucson police identify homicide victim found dead in home as 42-year-old man


TUCSON, Arizona — Tucson police have identified a homicide victim killed over the weekend.

Police say 42-year-old Michael Oleisky was found dead early Sunday morning inside a home near East Edison Street and North Northway Avenue.

Sgt. Kimberly Bay says several people called 911 to report arguing followed by sounds of gunfire.

Bay says responding officers checked the neighborhood and found a home with the front door open.

Officers entered the home and found a man with obvious signs of trauma.

Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
