MANCHESTER, Iowa — Authorities say 32 students were on a school bus when it was struck by an SUV and rolled over in Delaware County.
Iowa State Patrol Sgt. Nathan Ludwig said the driver of the SUV failed to yield Thursday afternoon and struck the West Delaware School District bus near Manchester. Authorities say the bus rolled once before coming to a stop on its wheels.
According to Ludwig, all 32 students and the drivers of the bus and SUV were transported to the hospital for medical attention. Police say most students, who are in kindergarten through 12th grade, suffered minor injuries and none had life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say charges are pending an investigation.
