OKLAHOMA CITY — The average price of gas in Oklahoma has dropped to its lowest point in more than nine months.
AAA Oklahoma reported Tuesday that the statewide average price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline is $2.99. That's down from $3.09 a week ago and $3.23 a month ago.
Prices in selected cities range from $2.79 per gallon in Bartlesville to $3.33 per gallon in Guymon. Motorists in Tulsa are paying about $2.86 per gallon while the average price in Oklahoma City is $2.95.
The national average price was $3.19 per gallon on Tuesday.
