AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Book Festival has revealed some of the authors that will headline the event this fall.

The festival announced Wednesday that headliners will include Martin Amis, known for novels including "Money" and "London Fields," as well as celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich and children's author Ziggy Marley, son of reggae's Bob Marley.

Others announced are Edan Lepucki, whose debut book "California" is a best-seller; journalist Hector Tobar; Pulitzer Prize-winner Lawrence Wright; former CIA operative Valerie Plame Wilson; and Caribbean writer Tiphanie Yanique.

Festival literary director Steph Opitz says more authors will be announced closer to the festival set for Oct. 25-26 in Austin. More than 40,000 people are expected at the event in and around the Capitol.
