CHARLESTON, South Carolina — Two men who pleaded guilty to killing a 25-year-old Beaufort man after arranging to buy the victim's pickup truck off Craigslist have been sentenced.

Multiple media outlets report 21-year-old Jquan Scott of James Island was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison without the possibility of parole in Charleston County court.

Twenty-two-year-old Isaac Williams of Charleston received a 40-year prison sentence.

Authorities say William Alex Apps had agreed to meet Scott and Williams in 2013 to sell a truck that Apps had listed for sale. Authorities say Apps was killed during a test drive as the men drove into Mount Pleasant. Apps' body was found several days later in some woods.

In May, Scott pleaded guilty to several charges including murder. Williams also pleaded guilty to a murder charge in July.
