SHOSHONI, Wyoming — Authorities say the driver in a fatal, single-vehicle rollover in central Wyoming had a blood alcohol content well over the legal limit of .08 at the time of the crash.

The Ranger in Riverton reports (http://bit.ly/1CeAqYS ) that autopsy reports show 42-year-old Rupert D. Goggles Jr. of St. Stephens registered a blood alcohol content of .314 after his death June 2 about 5 miles west of Shoshoni on Wyoming Highway 789. He died of blunt-force chest trauma as a result of the crash.

His passenger, 42-year-old Thurlo R. Tidzump, of Arapahoe, also died as a result of the crash.

Police say Goggles was driving the car drifted off the highway and then overcorrected, sending the vehicle into a slide.

Both men were ejected. Officials say neither was wearing a seat belt.
