UNCASVILLE, Connecticut — Kelsey Bone and Shekinna Stricklen both scored 18 points to lead the Connecticut Sun over the Atlanta Dream 82-64 on Sunday.

Stricklen came off the bench to hit 4 of 6 3-point attempts. Bone was 9 of 11 from the floor. Jasmine Thomas had 17 points and Alyssa Thomas added 10.

Angel McCoughtry paced the Dream with 24 points. Erika de Souza and Tiffany Hayes both added 10 points.

Connecticut (3-1) took over in the fourth quarter, using a 9-2 run to go up eight, then scored 13 straight — including consecutive 3-pointers by Stricklen — to build a 20-point lead.

The Dream (2-3) raced out to a 20-5 lead early, but the Sun used a 13-2 run — including Chelsea Gray's 3-pointer — to trim the deficit to four at the end of the first quarter.

Connecticut then dominated much of the second quarter to run up an 11-point lead before Atlanta put together an eight-point run to trail by three, 39-36, at the half.
