PORTLAND, Oregon — A southeast Portland man has been found guilty of fatally shooting his younger brother in the neck during an argument on Christmas Eve 2013.

The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/Ccxpb9 ) that 64-year-old Mickey Omega Rolin was found guilty Tuesday of the murder of 61-year-old Terry Lee Rolin.

Prosecutors say the brothers were fighting when Mickey Rolin shot Terry twice. Initially Mickey Rolin confessed to his nephew, who was upstairs during the altercation, but he later told investigators that an intruder broke into their home and killed Terry Rolin.

Mickey Rolin is scheduled to be sentenced next week. Oregon sentencing guidelines call for him to receive life in prison with the possibility of release after 25 years.
