McCOMB, Mississippi — McComb police say they've caught a man they believe kidnapped and raped a woman.

Detective Shannon Sullivan tells the Enterprise-Journal ( that officers arrested 19-year-old Keethion Dontrel Turner Thursday and charged him with kidnapping, aggravated assault, rape and armed robbery.

Police say the victim drove herself to the police department Wednesday morning, saying Turner broke into her home and held her there, assaulting her with a knife and raping her.

Detectives say Turner allegedly tried to force the victim to go to an ATM and withdraw cash. But as she and Turner were leaving the house, the victim's brother, outside cutting the grass, noticed, prompting Turner to flee.

The brother ran after Turner for several blocks before losing sight of him, and a manhunt ensued.

The victim was hospitalized.
