PHOENIX — Police believe they have the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run of a pedestrian in Phoenix.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson says 77-year-old Daniel R. Miller was crossing Bell Road near 12th Street shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday when the incident occurred.

Thompson says Miller was hit by a Hyundai Accent driven by a male.

The suspect allegedly fled without giving any assistance.

Miller died from his injuries.
