GRAFTON, West Virginia — A fire that damaged a former school in Grafton has been ruled as arson.

The State Fire Marshal's Office is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Media outlets report that the fire occurred Monday at the old Grafton Middle School. Firefighters contained the blaze to one room on the fourth floor. The building sustained smoke and water damage.

Assistant State Fire Marshal Mackey Ayersman says witnesses saw two male teenagers leave the building before the fire was reported.
