Rapid City convenience store robbed of cash at gunpoint; no injuries reported in holdup


RAPID CITY, South Dakota — Rapid City police are searching for a gunman who robbed a convenience store.

Authorities say a man walked into the Fresh Start store shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police canine units tried but failed to track him.

No injuries were reported.
