MUSKEGON, Michigan — Snow-covered and slick roads in parts of Michigan are making travel hazardous and leading to crashes.
The Muskegon Chronicle reports the southbound lanes of U.S. 31 in Muskegon County reopened Tuesday morning following crashes involving about 15 vehicles.
Sheriff's Lt. Shane Brown says there are at least two confirmed injuries, but they weren't reported to be serious.
Roads were slippery Tuesday morning and snow was rapidly falling. The snow came as the state faced another day of bitterly cold temperatures.
