DETROIT — Eli Tomac raced to his second AMA Supercross victory of season Saturday night, easily holding off series leader Ryan Dungey in the 450SX Class event at Ford Field.

Tomac, the Honda rider who also won this year in Phoenix, took the lead on the fourth of 20 laps and beat Dungey by 11.89 seconds.

Dungey, a five-time winner this season, has a 67-point lead over Trey Canard with five races left. Canard crashed in qualifying and didn't race in the main event.

Honda's Justin Bogle won the Eastern Regional 250SX Class event for his first victory of the season, leading all 15 laps.

Marvin Musquin, a four-time winner in the six races, was second for the second time this season. Musquin had a 13-point lead over Bogle with two races left.
