Old Saybrook police seeking driver who struck pedestrian, then fled overnight

OLD SAYBROOK, Connecticut — Police in Old Saybrook are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian and fled the scene overnight.

Police say a man was struck on Ferry Road at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday. He is reported in stable condition at Yale New Haven Hospital.

The man was able to tell officers that the car had fled but wasn't able to give police a description.

Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to call the Old Saybrook Police Department.
