MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — A county coroner says a man killed by police officers in central Ohio earlier this month was shot at least seven times.
Logan Hall was shot by Mount Vernon officers at least seven times by Mount Vernon Police officers after he refused to put down a knife during a domestic altercation with his grandmother Dec. 13.
Dr. Jennifer Ogle, the Knox County coroner, tells the Mount Vernon News (http://bit.ly/1r8TcRj) that Hall had seven gunshot wounds to the back and side of his torso. Four gunshot wounds were found on his arms, but Ogle said they could have re-entry wounds from the shots to the torso.
Ogle also found abrasions from beanbag rounds officers used first to try to subdue Hall.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation continues to investigate.
