CONWAY, South Carolina — Prosecutors say they plan a May trial for a married couple charge with murder in the death of an Horry County woman who has been missing for more than a year.

Court papers show Tammy and Sidney Moorer are set to stand trial starting May 11.

Authorities say the couple killed Heather Elvis because the husband had an affair with her. Elvis hasn't been seen since gong on a date on Dec. 18, 2013. She was 20 years old when she disappeared.

Circuit Judge R. Markley Dennis Jr. will preside over the trial and is asking for 800 people to be in the jury pool because the case has received so much publicity.
