SEVIERVILLE, Tennessee — Police in Sevier County say two inmates have escaped from the jail in east Tennessee.

Sheriff Ron Seals says the two went missing Friday night. The Knoxville News Sentinel reports (http://bit.ly/1z4mxzX) corrections officers at the jail noticed the inmates were gone around 11:41 p.m. The two men are identified as 44-year-old David L. Way and 18-year-old Dustin Skaggs.

The two were not found after a search of the jail and surrounding area.

Sheriff Seals says both men are considered dangerous.

The Sevier County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information to contact their local law enforcement agency or call 865-453-4668.
