Texas man, 46, drowns in Mountain Fork River in McCurtain County

IDABEL, Oklahoma — A Texas man's body has been found in the Mountain Fork River in McCurtain County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the body of 46-year-old Kye Nam Hwang of Lewisville, Texas, was recovered Wednesday.

According to troopers, Hwang was fishing when he slipped into the water around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and never resurfaced. Authorities say Hwang could not swim.
