BUFFALO, New York — A western New York man faces 15 to 25 years in prison for killing his father.
Sean Keenan is scheduled to be sentenced in Buffalo Tuesday after pleading guilty in April to a charge of manslaughter. He admitted to beating and stabbing 70-year-old John Keenan in their home in the suburb of Orchard Park last July.
Authorities say the 22-year-old son cut his hair after the killing and tried to use his father's passport to enter Canada.
His attorney says he's been treated for mental health issues.
