MONTPELIER, Vermont — Heavy, wet snow and ice are in the forecast for parts of Vermont.
The Northeast Kingdom is forecast to get 4 to 6 inches Saturday night and into Sunday.
A mix of rain and snow is expected to start falling on Saturday evening and will switch to all snow after midnight.
Parts of southern Vermont are expected to get freezing rain Saturday followed by rain as the temperatures rise in that area of the state.
