LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — A financial services company is opening a new facility in Louisville, bringing with it 250 new jobs.
Computershare Inc.'s facility in downtown Louisville was opened Wednesday, six months after the company announced the $12 million project.
Gov. Steve Beshear's office said in a news release the facility will support the company's operations around the U.S.
The release said the new jobs will be in management, human resources, recruitment, call center and operations staff. Hiring has already begun.
The state has preliminarily approved tax incentives of up to $2.5 million for the project.
