BOSTON — The mother of a Boston man killed in a hit-and-run this week is asking the driver to come forward.
Police have not released the name of the man struck and killed at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Blue Hill Avenue and American Legion Highway in Dorchester.
But Ruth Carter tells multiple media outlets that the victim was her son, 51-year-old Paul Fonseca.
She tells the Boston Herald that the driver of the vehicle that struck her son should "do the right thing" and go to police, otherwise that person will have no peace.
She tells The Boston Globe her son was a loving, dependable and always laughing.
Police are looking for a black Lincoln Town Car they believe was involved.
