Man shot to death at Charlotte gas station; no arrests made

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — A man has been found shot to death at a gas station in Charlotte just off Interstate 77.

Local media outlets reported that police were called to the gas station shortly after 3 a.m. Monday and found the victim in a car.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Officers are working to gather evidence and review possible security camera footage. No arrests have been reported. Police have not said what might have prompted the shooting.
