HARLAN, Kentucky — A trial date has been set for an eastern Kentucky man charged with kidnapping and killing another man three years ago.

The Harlan Daily Enterprise ( ) reported that Judge Robert Costanza scheduled the case of 38-year-old Timothy Turner of Harlan for Dec. 2 in Harlan Circuit Court.

Turner is charged with murder, theft, robbery and kidnapping in the death of 58-year-old Stephen Gibson of Harlan on June 2, 2011.

Police found Gibson in his home.

Another person, Rachel Osborne, has pleaded guilty to her role in the death. She is scheduled for sentencing on Dec. 2.
