PICAYUNE, Mississippi — A Picayune man is going to prison for child exploitation.

Attorney General Jim Hood says in a news release that 59-year-old Edwin Dean Pauly was sentenced Tuesday by Pearl River County Circuit Judge Prentiss G. Harrell to 10 years with five years suspended and five years to serve.

Pauly pleaded guilty to two counts of child exploitation Aug. 12.

Pauly must also register as a sex offender upon release.

Hood says an investigation found Pauly in possession of multiple images of child pornography.
