SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — The Arizona Diamondbacks have optioned right-handers Allen Webster and A.J. Schugel and left-hander Matt Reynolds to Triple-A Reno.

The Diamondbacks also reassigned outfielder Nick Buss, infielder Walter Ibarra and left-hander Dan Runzler to minor league camp.

The 30-year-old Reynolds was bothered by an oblique strain early in spring training, but had been in the running for a spot in Arizona's bullpen. He appeared in six spring games, going 0-1 with a 3.18 ERA.

Webster, who was acquired from Boston in an offseason trade, was 0-1 with an 8.18 ERA in five spring appearances.
