ST. PETERSBURG, Florida — The University of South Florida is transferring 1.4 acres of land to All Children's Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine.

The university says the decision symbolizes its commitment to continuing the training of medical students at the hospital.

The land was donated by the state to USF in April and was transferred this week to All Children's Hospital.

The property will be used to develop a research, education and training facility to support innovations in pediatric care and expand the future collaborative efforts of the two organizations.
