The robbery happened at 10 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the victim tried to walk away but the man came up behind him and put him in a chokehold until he passed out.

When the victim came to 20 to 30 minutes later his wallet and backpack were gone. They contained glasses, keys, gift cards, jewelry and cash. The victim was treated at a hospital the next day.
