PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island — Thirteen women are being honored at the YWCA Rhode Island's annual "Women of Achievement" ceremony.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln.

The honorees include Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce President Laurie White, Rhode Island Family Court Chief Judge Haiganush Bedrosian, Bank of America Vice President Lisa Ranglin, PVD Lady Project co-founder Sierra Barter and Rhode Island Free Clinic CEO Marie Ghazal.

The organization of the year is a local chapter of the National Association for Women in Construction.

YWCA President and CEO Deborah Perry says the awards celebrate women who are inspirational and have taught valuable lessons about being strong and giving back to others.

State Rep. Deborah Ruggiero is this year's emcee.
