RICHBORO, Pennsylvania — Authorities say the deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were found in their suburban Philadelphia home are being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide.
Police in Bucks County said a relative found the bodies of 65-year-old Boris Sereda and 61-year-old Inna Sereda in the Northampton Township home shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday.
Police chief Michael Clark said the two were found in a second-floor bedroom and a handgun was recovered at the scene.
An autopsy is to be conducted by the county coroner. Clark said there had been no prior complaints involving the couple to police.
Authorities said the husband owned a jewelry shop in Philadelphia's Center City.
