Grain higher, livestock mixed


CHICAGO — Grain futures were higher in early trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was unchanged at $5.1320 a bushel; December corn was 1 cent higher at $3.9020 a bushel; December oats were 3.50 cents higher at 2.1560 a bushel; while November soybeans were 5.50 cents higher at 8.80 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .63 cent lower at $1.3075 a pound; November feeder cattle was .25 cent higher at $1.7478 a pound; December lean hogs gained .35 cent to $.6573 a pound.
