BIRMINGHAM, England — Scott Sinclair scored two more goals but Aston Villa was still held to a 2-2 draw by Sunderland on Saturday in a seesaw Premier League encounter.

Sunderland took the lead through Yann M'Vila in the eighth minute but Sinclair leveled through a penalty in the 11th and put the hosts in front in the 41st. It was Sinclair's fifth goal of the week after netting a hat trick in the League Cup, but Jermaine Lens salvaged a point for the visitors in the 52nd.
Villa has four points from four games while Sunderland remained in last place on two points.
