MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina — A man wanted in a fatal shooting at a Myrtle Beach apartment complex has been arrested in North Carolina.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported Friday (http://bit.ly/1ik4VbH ) that Akeem Akbar Young of Conway was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal Task Force in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The 36-year-old Young is being held at a detention center in Fayetteville pending extradition to Horry County, where he will be charged with murder in the shooting of 26-year-old Antonio Dexter Smith, 24.

Young is the second person charged in Smith's killing. Delshawn Anthony Davis of Conway was charged Wednesday with murder.

Smith was shot about June 14 in the parking lot of Canterbury Apartments. Witnesses told officers they heard between four and six gunshots and saw a car speed away.
