SHERIDAN, Wyoming — A man faces a preliminary hearing in connection with a burglary last May at a Sheridan pharmacy that netted thousands of dollars' worth of prescription pain pills.

The Sheridan Press reports ( ) Kyle Logan Fearnow is charged with burglary and four counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Fearnow faces a Jan. 15 preliminary hearing. A judge will decide if the charges against him should advance to district court.

Police say someone entered the Hospital Pharmacy North through the roof of the building last May. The owner reported the theft of $15,000 worth of pain pills.

Police arrested Fearnow in August and found pills that they say match some of those taken from the pharmacy. Police say they've also matched his DNA to samples taken from the burglary scene.
