SAVANNAH, Georgia — Savannah police are investigating overnight shootings that left two men dead.

Savannah-Chatham County police said Saturday the shootings occurred four hours apart and the crime scenes were more than 5 miles from each other.

A police news release says 21-year-old Devonte Mumford was found suffering from a gunshot just before 8:30 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of a sports bar near Savannah State University. The second victim, 37-year-old Antonio Duncan, was shot while driving on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at the edge of the city's downtown historic district at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say both men died after being taken to a local hospital. No suspects or arrests were announced Saturday afternoon.
