Suspect in Mississippi bank robbery arrested in Georgia, awaits extradition, officials say


WEST POINT, Mississippi — Authorities say the suspect in a Mississippi bank robbery has been arrested in Georgia.

West Point Police Chief Tim Brinkley tells WTVA TV (http://bit.ly/1MGlw7n) the U.S. Marshal's Service arrested 23-year-old Titus Jeshua Lamb in Atlanta Saturday night.

Brinkley says Lamb was wanted in connection with the armed robbery of the Renasant Bank on July 27.

Lamb is currently being held in Georgia until he can be extradited to West Point to face the charges.
