LAS VEGAS — Southern Nevada real estate agents say the area's median home price remained steady for a third straight month in October, at $220,000.
The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors reported Monday that the median home price was up 10 percent from the same month a year ago. Condominium prices were also up, about 6 percent from October 2014.
Association president Keith Lynam says the number of existing homes, condominiums and townhomes sold last month topped 3,000, up 7 percent from a year ago.
Lynam says about 13,500 single-family homes listed for sale on through the association in October, down 6.3 percent from October 2014.
Median home prices remain between a June 2006 peak of $315,000 and a low of $118,000 in January 2012.
