OWENSBORO, Kentucky — Kentucky State Police have released the names of those involved in a car crash that killed three children when the sports utility vehicle they were riding in ran off a highway in Daviess County and into a field.

Police tell local media outlets that 32-year-old Laurie Swanson was driving eastbound on KY 56 Saturday night when she swerved to avoid another vehicle, over-corrected, and lost control.

Police say 10-year-old Hunter Glass and 13-year-old Sierra Morris died at the scene. Police say 12-year-old Alexandra Glass was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities say 7-year-old Catherine Glass is in critical condition at a Louisville hospital. Police say none of the four were wearing seat belts.

Police say Swanson and three other children who were also in the car survived the crash.
