FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas — Pine Bluff still has some unfinished business with El Dorado after a pair of losses last season, including a 31-24 loss in the Class 6A state championship game.

The Zebras (5-2), ranked No. 1 in Class 6A this season, will have their opportunity to make amends for last season — as well as establish themselves as the title favorite this year — when they host the Wildcats (5-2) on Friday night.

Led by coach Bobby Bolding, Pine Bluff has bounced back after a pair of early season losses to Class 7A powers Fort Smith Northside and North Little Rock. The Zebras have won four in a row, including back-to-back shutout wins over Lake Hamilton and Little Rock Hall.

El Dorado, meanwhile, is coming off its first loss to an in-state team — a 36-27 defeat to Lake Hamilton last week.
