FARMINGTON, Utah — A former teacher accused of having sexual relationships with three students was ordered to stand trial after a victim testified that he had considered her his girlfriend.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1I5hCyH ) that a judge ordered 35-year-old Brianne Altice to stand trial.
The former Davis High School English teacher is accused of 14 felony charges, including rape, sodomy, sexual abuse and sex with a minor.
The judge also ordered Altice to stay jailed. Bail was revoked after she reportedly had sex with the third victim following her 2013 arrest.
That same victim said in court Thursday that he considered Altice to be his girlfriend during their year-long sexual relationship.
The now-18-year-old testified against Altice after he was arrested for witness tampering and retaliation against a witness in the case.
